How Do I Work With New Aweber Code
Setup your form in the Aweber Form Manager.
Select the Raw HTML Version
Uncheck “Include beautiful form styles” this will strip out extra code
The most important fields are the input fields near the top. You don’t need all the “div” text..
And to setup the input text fields you now have to change “from” to “email”

Basically.. integrate the top part of the code from aweber and replace “from” with “email” and that should be all you need to do.
Do The Templates Work With WordPress?
The templates are standalone pages that work outside of WordPress. There’s no reason to integrate them with WordPress.
WordPress is just a folder and files that sit on a computer (your host’s computer, and your domain just access those files) and you have the ability to upload as many files and folders as you want to appear on your domain.
WordPress Themes and Template themes also have no correlation.
Your wordpress may appear at:
http://www.yourdomain.com
but that doesn’t mean you can’t upload 10,000 more pages at
http://www.yourdomain.com/file1.htm
http://www.yourdomain.com/file2.htm
And you can also create 10,000 directories if you want at
http://www.yourdomain.com/directory1/
http://www.yourdomain.com/directory2/
If you use your file manager or FTP to upload a Squeeze page template and its files to:
http://www.yourdomain.com/squeeze/index.html
Then that’s where page will appear when someone accesses that URL.

How To I Edit The PSD’s?
You will need a graphics program like Photoshop or Gimp to edit the PSD files. If you don’t have Photoshop you can get a 30 day trial here.
The designer only did one PSD, but editing the JPG’s in Photoshop is pretty basic..
1. Open the PSD
2. Edit the Text in the PSD you want to change.
3. Open the JPG that contains the text you are changing.
4. Go back to the PSD.
5. Use the Marquee Tool (the dashed rectangle tool which you use to select content)
6. Using the Marquee Tool drag and highlight just the text area that you changed.
7. Select “Copy Merged”
8. Then Paste that over your open JPG and align it correctly.
If you or your designer do not have the higher end fonts used in graphics, just use Myriad Pro font to make the changes. It works great.

I was wondering if you had any videos on uploading squeeze pages via FTP. Im quite new to all this and dont really know how to do it.

I do not have any FTP videos, but there are loads of them online. Depending on what program you wish to use to upload files you can find videos by searching google or checking out the help section of your FTP client’s website.
I use Smart FTP, a free solution is FileZilla. Another option is your web based file manager. Most all domain packages have a web based file manager which allows you to upload files to your site. If you have CPanel it’s “File Manager” and you can upload all your squeeze page files with it as well.
As a web developer does this purchase allow for installation on clients domains?
The template come with personal rights only, however you can purchase for clients via an affiliate link for a net cost of about $14.00
I have just made a purchase but have yet to download. I was not aware that your templates were available since last year. Are they compatible with WordPress upgrade 3.01 ?
What FREE WP theme is suitable for your templates? Am not familiar yet with customizing the new WP 3.01 themes and don’t intend to purchase Socrates.
Templates look ideal for my business and takes the hassle of creating them.

Your question is answered on the #2 question on this page. They are standalone pages, you use them outside of wordpress to capture leads.
On the sidebar templates, can you please give me an idea of what to do. It seems like the text is in the css but the template has text in it also. Thanks Tara
You have to add the CSS to your stylesheet or to the page you are adding templates to. And you need to upload any images to your site and use the absolute path to those images. That should bring it together.
I have watched the install videos and have a quick question. I use GetResponse and am trying to figure out what HTML Code to strip out of their Web Form generator… Please advise. I can easily email you a notepad file with the Code… or whatever keeps it simple. Thanks

Great product… really love the designs but was hoping to edit them in dreamweaver. Is it possible to have the templates load “as is” in dreamweaver or were they meant to only edit in notepad?

If you get logged out when clicking downloads, it’s due to an issue with my membership script. Just email me and I can fix in 30 seconds.
I’m getting a “fonts are missing from the text layer” message in photoshop when I try to modify the text. Do you happen to have the fonts that support the templates ? I’m missing Helvetica Condensed Black Obl so far.
Switch to Myriad Pro condensed instead of Helvetica. The original designers used Helvetica but it’s a premium font.. If you don’t wish to buy it.. (I don’t even have it) Myriad Pro works just fine.

Hi Do you have the font files used in psds? Are they included in the downloads? Coz when I opened the psd I get a warning that I do not have those fonts. But I really would like to keep the design and the fonts used.
Also it would help if the psd already have slices so that when we change the image or text on the psd, i don’t have to guess where to slice the images.
Janette, both your questions are answered on the FAQ page. I don’t have the font files but recommend switching to Myriad Pro. The designer used premium fonts which some people have, but they cost a premium. I personally just switch to Myriad Pro. As far as the PSD slices. It takes an extra 5 seconds to use my instructions above to make your images from the one PSD. Just do it one time and you’ll see it’s quite easy.
when you copy the new text from the one green psd file onto say the red one via your instrcutions above you end up with green – there has to be a better way toi change the text in the psd file?
